Meet Jeff Vehr, Au.D.

I began this journey into Hearing Healthcare way back in 1985 when I decided to enter the world of Audiology after seeing my grandmother struggle with her hearing aids and not being able to interact with family.

I graduated with a B.S in Communication Disorders and followed that up with a Masters Degree in Audiology. Fascinated by how better hearing improved and CHANGED lives, I was eager to explore all avenues of this incredible industry. Working as Director of Audiology for Dr Gale Miller, an Otologist in Cincinnati, I saw the medical side of Audiology. Observing ear surgeries, performing intraoperative hearing tests and Brainstem Evoked Responses, and seeing the outcomes firsthand was inspiring! I was participating in changing lives!?

Later on I was able to obtain a Doctor of Audiology degree which further expanded my knowledge in hearing, hearing loss and opened up the possibility of having my own practice to help those with hearing impairment.

Private Practice, or the fitting of hearing devices, really was my first love. How incredible it is to see someone’s personality CHANGE, almost immediately, when they can HEAR!! This is why my staff and I do what we do: CHANGE LIVES THROUGH BETTER HEARING!?
